Rachel's on a Mission...

Rachel is on a mission to create emotionally safe and empowering classrooms and spaces for all children.

Rachel finds a way to connect with every single child through emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and play and creativity. She uses practical tools to help educators and parents create safe spaces.

Simply put, Rachel inspires adults and children to be their best selves, and create empowered communities.

Rachel has been teaching in the Toronto District School Board and internationally for over 15 years and worked with over 60,000 children. She is known as “Miss Rainbow Fairy” because of her alternative approach to education. She has been compared to Miss Honey from Matilda, Miss Frizzles from Magic School Bus, and Professor Trelawney from Harry Potter.

Her talks are deeply impactful because of her lived experience having been bullied from grade one to the end of high school. This, combined with a lifetime of dedication to education, helps her transform educational practices and approaches to working with children.
